Anne Earney is a writer living in St. Louis, Missouri. She returned to writing after being away for too long (10+ years, practically a lifetime). In that past writing life, her work appeared in Midwestern Gothic, Hayden's Ferry Review, Natural Bridge and other publications, and she won some things which no longer seem relevant given that so much time has gone by.

She is (still) working on a collection of interconnected short stories centered around The Diamonds (a bus stop-restaurant-cafeteria that was in Gray Summit, Missouri, off of Route 66) and a short novel set at a lake that might be kinda like the Lake of the Ozarks. She’s particularly interested in the gothic, the surreal and the strange. When she’s not writing, she’s trying to save her houseplants from themselves, fostering kittens for the APA of Missouri, or reading. Most likely reading.
